Liberty Means Freedom of Speech; Why I Started Freedom Fight Night Series

The Fourth of July is a time to celebrate American traditions and spend a day embracing positive principles. Independence Day is a reminder we can achieve greatness, if as a nation we put forward maximum effort. It is not too late for America to make a comeback.

I would not traditionally be this pessimistic but polls are showing that most Americans — in both political parties — think the country is going in the wrong direction. I believe that inflation, the economy, and lack of confidence in President Joe Biden is why this is happening.

I have never been politically active. I am a businessman with a zest for sports and economic freedom. But in the last few years watching inflation crush business and stifle freedom, I decided that I needed to do something. This is why I founded the Freedom Fight Night Series (FFN).

Freedom Fight Night is a Mixed Martial Arts tournament put on for sports fans that raises funds for Freedom Key Society, which promotes freedom-based causes. The first event took place in Miami this past March, and this next event is July 15 in Phoenix, Arizona.

We have former UFC Champions coaching, commentating, and supporting this event and celebration of freedom. The issues that I have focused on influencing are pushing back on mask mandates for businesses, parental autonomy for the way to raise children, and freedom of speech.

As we look at this 4th of July, I want to commend all the Americans out there hanging on, trying to work hard and present their viewpoints to each other peacefully and I hope more people will find creative and positive ways to express their values. I am hoping everyone will check out the Freedom Fight Night event, and we can stay independent as a nation and united in our support of free speech.
